Orfeo ed Euridice Cover Image

Our production of Orfeo ed Euridice opens one month from today! Join us as we take Gluck’s famous setting of this classic Greek myth and bring it to life with a unique twist. Girl meets girl. Girls fall in love. On their wedding day, Euridice is bitten by a snake while picking flowers and disappears to the underworld. Orfeo, using her heart as her compass and Amore (Love) as her guide, travels to the land of the dead to save her true love. Orfeo ed Euridice will be presented as a semi-staged concert production in three acts with chamber orchestra. It will be sung in Italian with English subtitles.

Performances will take place March 20 and 21 at 8 pm at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Monrovia. Full information can be found on our Orfeo ed Euridice page.
